"I'll always be standin' on thin ice. Might as well do it in style."
Fail background is fail. But I'm okay with the outfit.
Since I covered winter wear last month
as well, I decided to go a completely different route this time. My inspiration was a combination of biker chick fashion, skiing attire, and sci-fi garnishes. Kroe would definitely skip the fuzzy frills and silly sweaters we're normally used to seeing this time of the year. It's not incredibly complicated, but it's relatively warm. Though, the whiskey and cigar might be what's keeping Kroe from whining. XD
Also, I noticed that 'winter wear' tends to make people wanna go with a cooler color palette, but Kroe's basically the opposite of everything ever. Without knowing where I wanted to go with colors, I knew I wanted the scarf to be red, so the entire outfit turned much warmer in theme than I expected. It ended out decent in the end, though it was a bugger mapping out colors in the beginning.
This is the last IP-Pageant round and my last deviation of the year. It's been crazy fun to do this, even if it has been a pain at times. This pageant is what pushed me into my new coloring style, and reminded me how to use references and play with color and backgrounds. If there's another season of this, I'll probably be on board given I have the time. 2015 is going to be hectic.
Love you guys. Thanks for viewing.
Happy new year!
